BEACHES AND DOG FRIENDLY BEACHES WITHIN 20 MINS OF ROSELANDS

PORTHCHAPEL

Porthchapel is a south-west-facing beach lying in a sheltered location between Porthcurno and Porthgwarra. Seals are regular visitors and can often be seen from the beach swimming in the clear blue waters. As with many of the beaches in the area, access to the beach is difficult, involving a rock climb down from a narrow cliff path. As such it is only suitable for the fittest . At the end of the lane, park in car park in a farmers field and cross back over the lane and follow the path down to the cove.

There are an abundance of caves and interesting rock formations for those not content with taking in the view. Nanjizel is also a good spot for seal watching Dog Friendly all year TR19 6JJ
Penberth Cove is still primarily a tiny fishing hamlet. There is a pebble beach. A river flows down through the wooded Penberth Valley into the cove. A Great location for Fishing of the Rocks ? Dog Friendly all year.
